Pitralon Classic
Pitralon
The first Pitralon product was an EDT developed by Karl August Linger in Dresden in 1927. The product was marketed as having medicinal properties including disinfecting the skin, removing impurities, and opening blocked pores. In 1964, a new edition of Pitralon was introduced called "Pitralon Classic". Up until 1993, both Classic and the Original formula were produced in Germany, but in 1993 production of the Original formula was moved to Switzerland while production of Classic remains in Germany to this day. In 2014, Pitralon was sold by Unilever to Labori International of the Netherlands. Today, Pitralon is sold in three variants, Original (Switzerland), Classic (Germany) and Polar (Netherlands).
