Cella
Cella Milano was estabished by brothers Giuseppe and Piero Cella in Milan in 1899. It began life producing shave soaps using a process similar to the Marseille hot process, although with a steam boiler. The soaps were reknowned for being highly concentrated with excellent hydrating properties and became popular with barbers throughout Italy. In the 1970s, Nicky Chini, a Milanese tailor bought the brand and continues to manufacture under the Cella Milano name. Cella offers a full line of shaving products including soap, balm, pre-shave, aftershave, and beard care, and has a green line of organic products.

Scent Description
Cella Red is a masterfully crafted fragrance whose scent note composition is a well kept secret and therefore a bit of a mystery. Although many consider it to be mainly a citrus accord, it's heart feels white floral, with notes of Jasmine and Gardenia, similar to Razorock's Chicago. Surrounding it are notes of Orange and other fruits, possibly Pineapple or Ylang-ylang, all underpinned by a subtle hint of woods. In a similar way to Proraso, there is also a green note which is likely Eucalyptus. The result is a a sweet and complex melange which is fresh and light, and suitable for almost any daytime occasion, including the office. Of note, the aftershave fragrance shares little in common with the Cella Red shave soap, which is primarily an Almond accord.
