Fine Accoutrements
Fine Accoutrements is the brain child and passion project of Todd Cerami, who after developing a love for wet shaving left the world of finance in 2005 to start the company. His first product was an original aftershave, Fine Classic Aftershave, which is no longer sold. Today the fragrances are primarily homages to well-known designer fragrances, with the most popular being American Blend inspired by YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme. The shaving soaps are made in Italy while the aftershaves are made in the USA. The brand has expanded into colognes and accessories inluding brushes, bowls, and even its own razor, the DE5.

Scent Description
Fine's American Blend is inspired by YSL's Rive Gauche Pour Homme which is a Fresh Aromatic Fougere. Although, it contains the classic Fougere anchors of Bergamot, Lavendar and Oakmoss, a note of Tobacco is inserted which comes through loud and clear, becoming even more prominent upon dry down. The fragrance is clean and masculine, with the balance somewhat tilted by the strong Tobacco note which although assertive adds depth and an air of elegance. The addition of menthol adds a extra refreshing zing. A good daytime fragrance, which is alluring enough for a night out.

This was the first Fine Accoutrement AS that I purchased and remains my favourite. My wife loves it on me, which is a big bonus. Yes, it’s an old school scent but never out of style. Makes a great everyday and everywhere s ent option.
