Floid was created in 1932 by J.B.Cendros, owner of the "Buenos Aires" barbership in Barcelona, Spain. It quickly gained popularity and today is an iconic fragrance among wet shavers and used in barbershops around the world. In 1984, the brand was purchased by Laboratorios Bago, a Spanish pharmaceuticals company. Today, Floid has expanded into shave gels, soaps, and deoderants.
Scent Description
Floid the Original is a classic barbershop fragrance which for many brings back boyhood memories of haircuts with their father. The fragrance is a is a playful, spicy and pungent mix of fruits, woods, flowers and musk that is both fresh and lively, and for many evokes old-world European elegance. The top notes are mainly bright and invigorating fruits, with floral and powdery heart notes, underpinned by a strong musk with peppery woods. Floid the Original is a Floral Oriental bouquet which is mainly a casual, daytime scent suitable for home or work.
