Razorock
Razorock was founded in Canada by Joseph Abbatangelo, who in 2009 enlisted his uncle, Michael Luorio, to take a trip to Tuscany in search of alum stones for Joseph's father-in-law, a retired Italian barber. After falling in love with all things Wet Shaving, they launched the Razorock brand which has grown into a complete product line spanning soaps, aftershaves, razors, and accessories. The brand is known for quality at an affordable price, with many of its products sourced from local Italian artisans. One early partnership was with the Tcheon Fung Sin Soap Company, founded by a Chinese immigrant to Italy in 1945, which produces many of its soaps and aftershaves.
Scent Description
Emperor is Razorock's take on Aventus, the iconic scent from the house of Creed, which is one of the most duped fragrances in the world of wet shaving. Aventus is beloved by both men, and the women who love them, and sits in the pantheon of greatest "Date Night" fragrances. Among its many homages, Emperor is an excellent rendition which is slightly less fruity than some others, but brings a welcome and new interpretation which is fresh, sweet, and slightly more sporty. The magic of Aventus resides in its fruits. For although it's a masculine, fresch, scent, the subtle hints of Blackcurrant and Pineapple, add a depth and roundness to the bouquet which is deeply alluring. When combined with the Musk, Leather, Birch and Ambroxan, the melange is both intoxicatiang and seductive, but in a manner which isn't brash or assertive, but mature and sophisticated. A must-have for fragrance lovers and a cornerstone of any serious collection.
