Razorock
Razorock was founded in Canada by Joseph Abbatangelo, who in 2009 enlisted his uncle, Michael Luorio, to take a trip to Tuscany in search of alum stones for Joseph's father-in-law, a retired Italian barber. After falling in love with all things Wet Shaving, they launched the Razorock brand which has grown into a complete product line spanning soaps, aftershaves, razors, and accessories. The brand is known for quality at an affordable price, with many of its products sourced from local Italian artisans. One early partnership was with the Tcheon Fung Sin Soap Company, founded by a Chinese immigrant to Italy in 1945, which produces many of its soaps and aftershaves.
Scent Description
Mudder Focker is one of Razrock's most popular scents and much beloved by the wet shaving community. The inspiration is a point of debate with some pointing to Panama 1924 by Boellis although many of the scent notes listed by Razorock seem to be different. The fragrance is earthy, sweet, and fruity, all at the same time, and is different from almost any other scent. As with some other iconic fougeres such as Aventus by Creed, YSL Y, or Creed's Silver Mountain Water, it is the use of fruit notes which gives it some of its special quality, in this case pineapple. A spiciness is woven in with Anise, which is sweetened with vanilla, and deepened with jasmine, violet and patchouli. The result is a fragrance which is sweet yet masculine, with a spicy and complex bouquet, which is easy to wear and suitable for almost any setting.
