Devil's Den
Shave Dad
The Shave Dad Project is an offshoot of the Shave Dad Facebook group and website founded by Jerry Plesi. The goal of the project is to colloborate with emerging soap and aftershave artisans to give them an opportunity to showcase their products. The soap bases and aftershaves are produced by the partners with Shave Dad acting as the sponsor. The fragrances used are both homages to existing well-known colognes and original scents. Past partners have included Elysian Soaps, 345 Soap, Strike Gold Shave, The Wet Shaving Store, Van Yulay, Ginger's Garden, Master Soap Creations, and others.
Scent Description
Devil's Den is an homage to Viktor & Rolf's Spice Bomb Extreme, which at its heart is a tobacco-vanilla blend, although augemented by unique elements which deepen its richness. Most notable are the cinnamon and lavender which add a sweet and spicy perfume, making it warm and alluring. The tobacco keeps it earthy and masculine, without taking over, while the bourbon adds a toasty, buttery carmel note, which feels comfortable and inviting. A truly versatile scent, which would be just as appropriate on date night as a trip to the office.
