Razorock
Razorock was founded in Canada by Joseph Abbatangelo, who in 2009 enlisted his uncle, Michael Luorio, to take a trip to Tuscany in search of alum stones for Joseph's father-in-law, a retired Italian barber. After falling in love with all things Wet Shaving, they launched the Razorock brand which has grown into a complete product line spanning soaps, aftershaves, razors, and accessories. The brand is known for quality at an affordable price, with many of its products sourced from local Italian artisans. One early partnership was with the Tcheon Fung Sin Soap Company, founded by a Chinese immigrant to Italy in 1945, which produces many of its soaps and aftershaves.
Scent Description
The Dead Sea is a classic Chypre. The fragrance is rich, deep, and intensely Citrusy. Acording to Razorock the Dead Sea was the long-term project of cofounder Michael Luorio, who was inspired to make a soap using Dead Sea Salt. Although powerfully fresh and clean, its artful balance and intoxicating complexity keep it sophisticated. The presence is noticeable and the longevity is substantial, making it perfect for home and social situations but possibly assertive for the office or date night. A versatile fragrance which is casual and easy to wear.

The Dead Sea base is very similar to Razorock's Super Vegan Formula in that it produces a buoyant and structured lather which ShaveSplash characterizes as Structured. The lather provides excellent Cushion with Medium-High Density, strong stability, and good slickness. Due to the quality ingredients which include Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Aloe, the post-shave feel is also excellent. With such reasonable pricing, Razorock's are one of the best values in wet shaving.
