Razorock
Razorock was founded in Canada by Joseph Abbatangelo, who in 2009 enlisted his uncle, Michael Luorio, to take a trip to Tuscany in search of alum stones for Joseph's father-in-law, a retired Italian barber. After falling in love with all things Wet Shaving, they launched the Razorock brand which has grown into a complete product line spanning soaps, aftershaves, razors, and accessories. The brand is known for quality at an affordable price, with many of its products sourced from local Italian artisans. One early partnership was with the Tcheon Fung Sin Soap Company, founded by a Chinese immigrant to Italy in 1945, which produces many of its soaps and aftershaves.

Sicily is a deeply appetizing blend of almond, vanilla, amber, and woods, brightened by a dash of bergamot that adds a zesty, polished lift. The composition hints at an Oriental structure, while the creamy almond and sweet, enveloping vanilla brush up against a Gourmand. The interplay of almond, vanilla, and amber is so rich and dense that it takes on a subtle powderiness, offering faint echoes of a classic Barbershop accord.
There is no denying its connection with Italian confections, but Sicily never collapses into a simple dessert scent. Razorock's Super Tallow performs similarly to the Super Vegan Formula in that both produce a buoyant and structured lather which ShaveSplash characterizes as Structured. The lather provides excellent Cushion with Medium-High Density, strong stability, and good slickness. Due to the quality ingredients which include Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Aloe, the post-shave feel is also excellent. With such reasonable pricing, Razorock's are one of the best values in wet shaving.
