Adopted Acres

Adopted Acres was founded in 2024 by Doug & Cara Layne in Asheville Ohio, where Doug uses tallow from the family farm where they have over 1,000 acres and an Angus beef cattle herd to make his soap. Doug is a wet shaving fanatic who dreamed of making his own soaps and splashes. The fragrances are all original and in addition to Cara the couple's five children help run the show.

Castle Forbes

The Castle Forbes brand was started by Lady Jinny Forbes of the Forbes Clan of Scotland in 1996 with her friend Andrew French, a professional fragrance creator. Caswell Massey

Caswell-Massey is a storied American fragrance and grooming house founded in 1752 in Newport, Rhode Island, and is often cited as the country’s oldest continuously operating fragrance and personal-care brand. The company was founded by Scottish physician Dr. William Hunter who created its flagship scent, Number Six, introduced in 1772 and promoted as George Washington’s signature fragrance, as well as the longest continuously manufactured American fragrance.

Catie's Bubbles

Catie’s Bubbles is widely recognized as one of the early pioneers of the modern artisan wet shaving movement. Founded in the early 2010s by artisan soapmaker Chris Cullen in Forked River, New Jersey, the brand takes its name from his daughter Catie and grew out of a personal soap-making hobby that evolved into a full-time, professionally run business. Cullen is known for his focus on high-performance, vegan, vegetable- and fruit-based shave soaps that produce a dense, slick, and protective lather. The scent portfolio is broad and distinctive, often drawing on French-inspired themes and naming conventions, ranging from bright, modern aquatics to complex fougères and gourmand-leaning compositions, helping cement the brand’s reputation among enthusiasts as a “French-style” artisan soap house. Over time, Catie’s Bubbles has expanded  into a range of grooming products including matching aftershave splashes and lotions, eau de cologne and eau de parfum offerings, and bath and body soaps. 

D.R. Harris

Gentleman's Nod

Strike Gold Shave

Strike Gold Shave is the passion project of Frank Misa, a retired police officer and firefighter who began professionally honing straight razors in 2007 and later expanded into a full line of shave soaps, aftershaves, and eaux de parfum. Talent Soap Factory is a Greenville, South Carolina–based artisan brand selling on Etsy since 2022. Led by its principal maker, Aaron (surname not publicly disclosed), the company offers a broad catalogue of distinctive, original fragrances across shaving soaps and aftershaves. Its soaps are produced in two bases—a vegan mango-butter formulation and a duck-fat (tallow) base—and the workshop is also noted for meticulously restored vintage shaving brushes.

Taylor of Old Bond Street
